Holy Shit, It's Over

This year went by so fast, I don't believe it's actually over. I can honestly say it's been one of the best years of my life. I've made great new friends and had some amazing experiences. I've done things I'd never thought I'd do and met a lot of really great people. I've also had some of my biggest dreams come true. Although it's all over, I hope to do it all over again, except ten times better, next year.

So, I guess since everyone else is doing it, I'll give my top lists of 2008.

Top 5:

5. Actually snowing in '08. Better late than never.
4. Heath Ledger in The Dark Knight
3. Redemption Song. I hate to say it but I got so addicted to that show, plus it gave Chris Jericho a career again and I'm all for that in our economic crisis.
2. Fast Times At Barrington High and Folie a Deux

1. The Compromising of Your Morality, Integrity, and Principles In Exchange For Your Money Tour. The absolute greatest day of my life so far, having a wonderful time with some wonderful people seeing one of my favorite bands of all time.

WTH Top 5:

5. Jonas Brothers, Demi Lovato, Miley Cyrus, Miranda Cosgrove...am I missing any?
4. Heath Ledger's Death
3. Demi+Deleon
2. Phenomena (Edward effing Cullen)

1. Economic "Recession" call it what you want, we're headed for some big trouble in the near future.

So, as we say goodbye to '08, I just want to say I'm thankful for everyone that helped me get past the rough times and everyone who was there for the fun times. '09 should have plenty more.

Be safe, have a great New Year's.

I've found my senior quote.

"And I'll never second guess the things that I have done. I've got too much left to say and too much to become."

Just Save Yourself, Cuz It's Too Late For Me

I was reading "The Perks of Being a Wallflower" and I came across this poem and it really hit me so I decided to share it with you...

Once on a yellow piece of paper with green lines
he wrote a poem
And he called it "Chops"
because that was the name of his dog
And that's what it was all about
And his teacher gave him an A
and a gold star
And his mother hung it on the kitchen door
and read it to his aunts
That was the year Father Tracy
took all the kids to the zoo
And he let them sing on the bus
And his little sister was born
with tiny toenails and no hair
And his mother and father kissed a lot
And the girl around the corner sent him a
Valentine signed with a row of X's
and he had to ask his father what the X's meant
And his father always tucked him in bed at night
And was always there to do it

Once on a piece of white paper with blue lines
he wrote a poem
And he called it "Autumn"
because that was the name of the season
And that's what it was all about
And his teacher gave him an A
and asked him to write more clearly
And his mother never hung it on the kitchen door
because of its new paint
And the kids told him
that Father Tracy smoked cigars
And left butts on the pews
And sometimes they would burn holes
That was the year his sister got glasses
with thick lenses and black frames
And the girl around the corner laughed
when he asked her to go see Santa Claus
And the kids told him why
his mother and father kissed a lot
And his father never ticked him in bed at night
And his father got mad
when he cried for him to do it.

Once on a paper torn from his notebook
he wrote a poem
And he called it "Innocence: A Question"
because that was the question about his girl
And that's what it was all about
And his professor gave him an A
and a strange steady look
And his mother never hung it on the kitchen door
because he never showed her
That was the year Father Tracy died
And he forgot how the end
of the Apostle's Creed went
And he caught his sister
making out on the back porch
And his mother and father never kissed
or even talked
And the girl around the corner
wore too much makeup
That made him cough when he kissed her
but he kissed her anyway
because that was the thing to do
And at three A.M. he tucked himself into bed
his father snoring soundly

That's why on the back of a brown paper bag
he tried another poem
And he called it "Absolutely Nothing"
Because that's what it was really all about
And he gave himself an A
and a slash on each damned wrist
And he hung it on the bathroom door
because this time he didn't think
he could reach the kitchen.

Time To Lay Claim To The Evidence

An hour and a half until I have to go to work...
I swear I'm the queen of procrastination.

I was thinking about how my teenage years are almost over yesterday, and it really scares me. I don't want to get old because I don't know what will happen. I want to believe in things but I don't know if it's possible anymore. Maybe someday, someone will find something to let us live forever; until then, I'm scared out of mind. But hey, I guess we all just have to live our lives one day at a time.

The Flavor of Your Lips Is Enough to Keep Me Here

Coffee Shop Soundtrack Video

Thank You

The Perks of Being a Wallflower is amazing.
Charlie has a great music taste that I'm currently indulging in myself.
I still have to start Frankenstein...one week until school's back in session.
It'll be 2009 in four days, this is weird. I have some expectations and hopes for next year. I have to start getting serious, no shit.

Maybe start acting on some dreams?

PS-Kimmy, your help with music saved me from eternal boredom. :)

12/27/08

time trickles by.
failure.
happiness.
frustration.
love.
sorrow.
time moves by slower now.

An Ode To William Beckett

I think I'm going to copy a little something from Billvy and do a Saturday music club.
First off, it's Colorblind by Counting Crows.

watching Cruel Intentions it gives the perfect background to the passion and confusion and mass of emotions felt by Annette and Sebastian. It's perfect background music that plays in the front just as well, the lyrics match perfectly. I absolutely love it.

Back To The Same Old Routine

The day after Christmas brings relief and frustration. Trying to get things to work and putting things together and finding the things that dont and having to return them. That's the reason I took off today.
I might go to the mall with my cousins later, maybe.
Folie a Deux is amazing.
Oh, I got some FBR todayy.
:]

SANTI.

Christmas

I got a Sidekick.
:]
I wasn't expecting that.
But I do have to buy my own Bamboozle tickets, but it's ok. I have the money now. Ticketmaster giftcards rock.

But no FBR this year....what?

Happy Christmas Eve

It's the last day to rush around and wrap presents. The anxiety will long last be rid tomorrow. But then the days after will be so much more fun. This is the holiday season.
I just can't wait for it to be over right about now.

Christmas Eve service at 5pm. Bringing back Christmas, the real Christmas.
